"Flying Machines" marks the tenth release from composer and lyricist J S Kingfisher's 21-piece song cycle, "From the Moon to the Earth." It features LaVance Colley on vocals, Dave Stone on bass, Jay Mason on sax, Brad Dutz on percussion, Jeff Bunnell on trumpet, and Charlie Morillas on trombone. Kingfisher plays keys and rhythm, and composed, arranged, and produced the track - except for those amazing vocal stacks, which LaVance created on the fly!

One new piece from the "From the Moon to the Earth" song cycle is released as a single every full moon. The cycle began February 14, 2014 and ends September 27, 2015 when the entire project is released on vinyl, CD, and as an app. "From the Moon to the Earth" features Kingfisher's unique compositions and singular style, an array of lead vocalists, and performances from LA's top session players.
